The story of Nid de Plumetot
Le Nid de Plumetot is a place steeped in history, nestled in a peaceful Normandy village, just minutes from the D-Day landing beaches.
The building appears on the Napoleonic land register, proof of its existence well before 1800. Originally, it was a typical farm of the region, today divided into two dwellings. The gîte once occupied the barn, a central space of agricultural life, where tools, crops, and sometimes even livestock were stored.
As you walk through the garden or look into the small house opposite, you can still see the old bird feeders, discreetly integrated into the walls – precious witnesses of another time.
An authentic place, designed to welcome you in a gentle and inspiring atmosphere.
Henri and Anne-Charlotte, the owners, poured their hearts into the renovation of this house. Passionate about interior design and heritage, they created a space that's both warm and functional, where every detail has been carefully considered for your comfort.
The cottage operates completely autonomously, thanks to a simplified arrival and departure system, to offer you total freedom and a peaceful experience, at your own pace.
